The fantastic turnout by our members and partner sponsors facilitated first-class discussions and the sharing of information among the group. We continued to see our ranks grow as we welcomed two new Canadian companies. New member, Polar Imaging, and partner sponsor ThinkFuel Marketing.

Finally, we would be remiss if we didn’t send a big thank you to our phenomenal Executive Director, Bob Chamberlain. These meetings do not happen on their own. Bob puts in a considerable amount of effort to make sure the venue, meals, amenities and so much more are perfect and this meeting was no different.
IIMDA Fall Meeting 2018
The location for our fall meeting will be at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort located on Amelia Island, FL. The meeting will take place October 19-21, 2018. Please add these dates to your calendar now and make your reservations before spots fill up.

The IIMDA Board
A very special thank you to Irene Price, of West Canadian Digital Imaging, for her years of dedication to IIMDA, her countless years on the Board and astounding insights into our industry. Irene is a true leader in every sense of the word!
Matt Solomon from Advanced Imaging Systems is joining the Board to replace Irene, and we are now taking nominations for those interested in coming on the Board. Voting will be held at our Fall meeting.

Discussed at the meeting again was the fact that each IIMDA member needs to continually seek out potential companies that will elevate the membership of IIMDA, candidates who can specifically enhance the information exchange and discourse at every meeting. This is the value proposition that is IIMDA. We are a think tank, and our newest members are perfect examples of this, and these additions must continue. If you have any suggestions for candidates, please refer to any Board member (Mario Duckett, John, Trimble, Kevin D’Arcy or Matt Solomon).
Closing this rather wordy summary, please also consider the need to critique the meeting we just concluded and to present topics of interest for our next meeting. We are looking for meaningful topics and ideas from all members, companies and vendor partners – we all have a unique perspective.
