The Industry Outlook for Document Management Service Providers
The weather outside was warm and sunny, but that didn’t stop us from buckling down and getting to work. Our Board put together an agenda focused on helping our members grow their businesses and bringing revolutionary new solutions to their clients. A special thanks to our presenters who shared their experiences and successes with the group:

Elections were also held at this meeting to fill one open Board position, and we are happy to announce that Brant Rathe of Revolution Data Systems will be joining the board. We also owe a big “thank you” to our Executive Director, Bob Chamberlain, for all his considerable efforts to ensure our meeting went off without a hitch.
IIMDA Spring Meeting 2019
Our spring meeting is scheduled for May 2 – 4 in beautiful Seattle, WA and will be hosted at the brand new Hyatt Regency Seattle keep an eye on your inbox for booking instructions. Have an idea for a topic you’d like to see covered at the Spring meeting? Let one of your Board members know and we’ll be sure to include it in our planning process.
Growing the Association
As discussed during the Fall meeting, we are continuing to look for new members who embody the values and integrity of our longstanding organization. If you know someone who can specifically enhance the information exchange and discourse at every meeting, please bring their name forward to the Board, and we will be sure to connect with them. Also discussed and agreed upon, was the need for a small increase in membership dues. Our Executive Director has worked tirelessly to keep our costs reasonable, however, like everything else, they have continued to rise. Effective in 2019, dues will increase to $1,250 per year for Members and $2,000 per year for Partner Members. A Heartfelt Goodbye
Lastly, we want to thank John Trimble, from Imaging Office Systems, for his years of dedicated service to IIMDA and the Board. John has been a steadying force among our group for decades, and as he steps down from the Board and heads toward his well-deserved retirement, we would be remiss not to thank him for his guiding influence, well-timed humor and the lasting structure he helped implement.
